Picture Style Blog!

So, I'm really terrible at updating this site! The bigger C gets the busier I get. So I have found a site that is more user friendly and it will be A LOT easier for me to keep you updated with pictures.

Jumperoo!

Cailyn's new favorite past time is bouncing around in her jumper. She loves playing with the toys spinning in circles and jumping to her little hearts content. I think a baby jumper is the best invention yet, and my arms do too!

Bathrobe Diva!

Miss Cailyn has an amazing personality. She is by far the happiest baby I know. We put her in her bathrobe before her shower and here is what she was doing....

Play Time

Cailyn and I now have a new routine. I lay her on her blanket with some of her toys and we sing a song about stretching. I stretch her legs and arms. She stands and sits. Its a great way to get her some exercise and have some mommy and Cailyn time. She really enjoys it and there is nothing better then a happy baby! Here are some pictures of our "workout" session.

Pretty in Pink

Cailyn is now 5 months old and growing rapidly by the day! She is a very happy girl and loves grabbing at anything she can reach. She loves playing with her toys and having her arms and legs stretched.

She is very inquisitive and I am convinced she is a genius baby :) We are having a blast with her and soon she should be sitting up on her own. For now we are just enjoying her baby days!

Baby Food Time!

It's official! Cailyn has taken her first step into being a big kid. :D She recently started on foods. We knew she was ready because she often reaches for our food and looks at us the deepest curiosity every time we eat.

We started her off with rice cereal. It took a few tries before she actually enjoyed it. So far she has tried bananas, applesauce and squash. Her favorite so far is squash. She loves it and she eats it up quickly! She has also taken to drinking water out of a sippy cup. She just loves being independent.


We'll be looking forward to trying more foods, especially her reaction to veggies!

Smiles

Cailyn is really starting to come into her own. She watches everything and seems really interested in life in general. We couldn't ask for a happier baby! Its a very exciting time in parenthood for us :)

Last week she had her Immunizations. She is now 25in and 14 1/2 lbs. She had such a hard time this time. Her cries were the saddest cries I have ever heard. Luckily for her and us, she forgot about it in a few short minutes...or at least we hope she did.

The Bumbo

I am sure you have all seen some pictures with Cailyn in her green chair. She loves that thing! Every time I put her in it she ends up doing something cute. Its a great invention! She looks like such a big girl sitting up without me holding her. I hope you enjoy some of these snapshots. There is one in particular that I find extremely up there on the cute factor. It was here reaction to Ian coming home from work. Can you guess which one it is?

Cailyn Meets The Aussies!

Last week we went to LA Farmers Market so Cailyn could meet her Australian cousins. I hadn't seen my cousin Victor and his wife in a few years so I was pretty excited to hear that they'd be in LA for a day.

My oldest sister Jessica, her two kids, Grant and Paris also came along for the day and later we met up with her husband Robert at the Santa Monica Pier. It was great seeing my sister and that was also Cailyn and Ian's first time meeting everyone.

Fun Day in the S-U-N!

Today we went to Greg's Fast Picth Softball tournament in Soboba. Cailyn had a blast. She loves people watching and watching the game kept her wide eyed :) After it was over I laid her on a blanket in the shade and she looked like the most content baby I have ever seen. She was smiling and cooing away. I'm glad I had the camera with us to capture it!

Swimsuit Model

Today was a very hot day! After waiting for what seemed like an eternity in the drive thru at Sonics we got home, changed Cailyn's diaper and let her be naykie for awhile! After we put her diaper on we decided to let her hang out in her swimsuit :) I must say she def has all the world's top models beat!

M.I.A.

So we have been M.I.A. for a few days! We have been very busy!! Ian has started a new job and we have been super busy with other things. We just took a car seat class so I can learn to put the car seat in the car right :) We learned a lot and I hope everyone will make sure to Buckle Up! I hope you enjoy the new pictures from the days we have been missing. Cailyn is even bigger and is able to do a lot more.

She loves walking, playing with her rattle, and melting hearts :)

Wiggle Worm

Cailyn is getting so big! Today I put her in the swing and for the first time she tried to wiggle out! I usually just wrap her and then lay her in it without straps because she never moves but today she did. Thankfully I caught her just in the nick of time. From now on if it has a strap, she's getting strapped in. We finally started sending out pictures so if you didn't get one I apologize. Cailyn was just very photogenic one day and we thought these particular photos would be the ones to send out.
