Today the stunning miss Cailyn received her first round of vaccinations. The whole way to the doctor's office I kept saying, "She is going to be so sad when she gets her shots." And Cailyn proved to me that she is much tougher then she looks. Everything at the doctor's office went well and she is in the 95th percentile on the growth chart which means she's growing fantastically! :) She weighed in at a little over 11 lbs. and now is a little over 24 in. long (she is going to be super tall!) When it came time for the shots, Ian held her down for me. She cried a little but not a whole lot, she cries worse when she has to wait a few seconds for food. She got 3 in total, they all contained more then one vaccine, and then one was orally administered. She seemed to like the oral one because she slurped it up. All in all she took it like a champ and not even 10 seconds after her shots she was smiling away. She is such a happy baby that even trips to the doctor's office are pleasant. :)
